Hello Martin and welcome to the best forum! thumbup

That's got to be the longest delayed response to a "spot" that I've ever seen!

From your profile you sound like the ideal candidate to join next year's S Club Eurotour:
"Been a TVR S3 owner since 1998.
Love to travel, photography, anything TVR, eating and drinking and generally living life to the max!"

Tailor made for all of those you've listed. Especially the last bit! biggrin

It's a shame you didn't discover PH earlier, you could have done ALL the Eurotours to date.

In the meantime, check out our events wiki and come and join in. We are a friendly helpful bunch. Well, except for grumpyguts over there >>>> wink

Have you considered going along to your local TVRCC Regional Club meets?

I love the number plate by the way smile

I think Martin may have been led astray and told to look on this forum by some dodgy characters he met at Millbrook yesterday..... !)

They know who they are .....

And by the way Mick, we don't talk about phalacies in polite society nono

In Martin's defence he was passing thru St Neots again..............

He was also friendly in offering us to follow him from Bedford to Clophill (he assumed by our belgian license plate we didn't have a clue where we were, which was incorrect......)

He then sped off, I could not/didn't want to follow suit as my engine was stone-cold...........

As an aside, have been invited to next years S tour, if that is OK with you peeps ?

Hi Frank wavey

Let me think about that..... scratchchin..... Hmmmmm.......

Well, I suppose it'll be OK, but you'll have to clear it with all the others as well. wink

And are you sure you want to undergo the initiation ceremony? yikes

Initiation ceremony ? The one were you get to drink a full bottle of scotch, stripped stark naked and told to go and buy a pair of knickers and a bra ? That one ? rofl

I'll have words with that Han when I see him later wink

A.R.S.E.? So you've done Alan's Roof Stowage Enclosure mod? I thought your S roof just folded down like Joe's?

And, no, not that initiation ceremony. I'm the whisky disposal expert:

I mean the one with the arm-length purple rubber gauntlets, the sink plunger and the pink onesie.
Bring something to bite down hard on.

Where was I?
I was at home sulking. It's on here somewhere. Check out TopGear's Oil thread.
Which brings us to the topic of recommended lubrication biggrin

Not any longer Paul. The goat has been replaced with this Winnats sheep. Tough old girl, but quite attractive I think you'll agree:

( .......just in case the initiate tries to make a break for it. wink )

Well guys I am overwhelmed by all the love for my S3 and some quality banter out there... Glad to be part of the PH gang and I will certainly be keeping an eye on events and joining in when I get a pass-out signed by my good wife... Haha. I'm more of a FB user than PH as you have gathered already but I will try to do better!
I did laugh when I realised I replied to a spot that was over 10 years ago, I've been in a time capsule!! :-)

Frank - Nice to meet you Saturday and sorry for 'assuming' you were lost simply as you were from Belgium... I remember I got lost in Belgium once and ended up following my sat nav down some tram tracks at night and I got stuck, a few hairy moments while I got the car (not a TVR) free and back on the road!! So was just trying to help. LOL Hope you got home all okay, respect for coming all this way for the event, but what a cracker I'm sure you think it was worth all the miles and expense.

Cheers
Martin (TVRHasgo)

Hi Martin,

Yup, really nice to meet you as well ! Thank you for your kind offer, but SWMBO is a rather good navigator, apart from the fact we'd passed the Flying Horse on Friday as well.

It has indeed been a brilliant weekend, one to remember !

keep well, hope to meet soon again

Frank
