Can anyone recommend the best oil for the limited slip diff in my Cossie S Series?

Is it a "viscous" type LSD from a Granada/Scorpio?

Or a "proper" clutch type LSD?

"Standard" EP 80/90 in a viscous diff.

The limited slip bit is done by a silicone based "grease" contained within the diff (Dilatant fluid to give it its proper name)that is not normally a serviceable item.

The oil you change serves the same general lubricating purposes as in an open diff, or final drive assembly to give it its proper title wink

Just to resurrect this, is EP90 the same as what TVR manual recommends API GL5 LS90....?

Just managed to force off the diff plug and want to replace all the stuff that has drained out of The bearing onto my exhaust

Here's what I put in my standard diff.
The red stuff in the middle jar is what goes in, the black stuff on the right, is what came out !

Right Container = Diff Oil - GL5 80/90 also OK for an LSD.
Left Container = Gearbox Oil GL4, just happened to be in the picture.
