That Santa need to learn how to read, nothing on my list about socks and under pants.

Harry, my six year old grandson, was starting to suspect that Santa was really daddy with a credit card, and was a con to make him behave better.

But then yesterday we told him that if we all went outside at 5.22 pm he would see Santa's sleigh flying overhead, so that Santa could check who was being good.

Out we went at 5.20, and at 5.22, bang on time, Santa flew over, a bright orange glow that took about two minutes to traverse the night sky from west to east. Harry now believes in Santa again.......at least for another year!






Well done Jodie (Mum) for spotting that the international space station would be visible......!!!

I can book a twin room for the Friday and Saturday nights as they are a 'given' however I don't know yet which other nights will be needed. This depends on who is coming with me. Mail me if you wish me to pay for these. I will be using Hull - Zeebrugge or similar.

No rush to confirm the extra night(s) at the moment but you will need to commit by 1/3 when I need the balance from you to pay the hotel. I expect it will still be possible to add the extra nights after then because you'll have a place at the hotel for the Friday and Saturday when it will be at its busiest so I can't see it being a problem to book Thursday or Sunday if needed
