While I'm logged in for the other thread, I thought I would say that I'm surprised that nobody seems to have seen Dave Bruce's article on the restoration of his S. I'm obviously biased because I know him well, but I think it's impressive that it's done 50,000 miles since the rebuild, and it still looks the same! No garage queen, this!

Agreed! I only looked at Sprint properly last night after your post prompted me - been busy over Xmas and I had some Aston Martin reading material arrive at the same time as Sprint.

Dave Bruce' S1 is up there with the very best of ALL the S's! bow
At SCH 2013 it looked so clean & shiny & nice I thought Dave must have brought it all the way from Scotland on a covered transporter. But no, he had driven it all the way down to Thorseby.
I hope Dave can bring that lovely red S to SCH2015 so that we can all admire & be inspired by it.

I must confess I haven't properly read my Sprint yet, must be the time of year, it's hard to focus after all those nice single malts drunk

scratchchinThinking of downgrading Longers?

You do realize that you'll be excluded from our inner circle if you turn up in an Aston. wink

Unless it's a Vanquish S of course........then you can let us all have a go biggrin
