Tvr s1 revers lights not working.

Hi just woundered if anybody has a picture of the wires going to the reverse light switch as I think mine may have come off , or any other ideas would be gd why mine arnt working cheers james

I do not have a picture to hand but there shouldn't be any other wires near the gearbox sender switch (upper right hand side of box from memory?). The wire providing power to the switch should be green with an orange tracer, the wire coming out to the reverse lights (and through them to earth) should be brown with a green tracer.
Friend stands behind car, plug lead off, ignition on, car in reverse, touch the wires together: Reverse lights go on, the switch of connections were faulty. Reverse lights do not go on, start checking elsewhere!

Before delving under the centre console for the switch I'd check it's nothing as simple as both bulbs blown, dodgey connection at rear lights etc.
