Hello all

My S2 has been off the road a couple of years now, but I'm aiming to get it back on the road this spring.
She's getting resprayed in the next couple of weeks due to paint bubbling on the rear end. I'm also making a few modifications while I'm about it, like different mirrors and modified fuel filler.

One problem is that I took the fuel tank out about a year ago and I'm buggered if I can remember how the fuel tank was mounted....I have the straps and rubbers but can't remember how they fit.

Any help or photos appreciated.

Cheers
Ant

Unless you've lost this bit I'd have thought it's fairly self explanatory scratchchin

Tank sits on cradle, brackets go over tank......

You need to get the straps over the tank before you lift tank and cradle up into position, you cant get them in afterwards (if body is on) wink.

Ant,

Not sure if the S2 tank is the same as the S3 but this is what I have. Vertical bolt orientation for the inner end of the band, Horizontal orientation for the ones easiest to get to. If I get a chance tomorrow and it isn't raining, I'll get into the garage and take a few proper shots if you want to PM me.

Mark

Dhow! I've been rumbled - some met men use chicken bones (I find they get stuck in the throat), others use seaweed (far too tasty) but the rubber glove works for me.
