Throttle linkage plate

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a modified throttle linkage plate with the straight slot?

The "straight slot" plates were fitted to some cars (not TVR's as far as I know) but don't think they're very common, to modify "standard" one is not a big job, depending what facilities you have at your disposal?

Just that. Had to put a chill on the area near the plastic to prevent it melting.

most of the discolour is actually braze, the heat damaged the nylon/plastic bush Alan mentioned so that was replaced with metal.

Can someone tell me what the advantage of a straight cut throttle plate is? Is it just a more linear throttle response? Does it make much of a difference to the way the car drives?
