S3 electric window switch
Discussion
I need to remove the bulbs from these switches as they are wired wrongly and come on when the lights and ignition are off. I can't see how the switch comes apart. The switch will only just prise up until the bottom is level with the centre console and the connections are soldered.
I've looked using 'search' but no luck there.
Is there any way to get at the bulbs and or pull the switch apart if the connections are soldered??
I'm only trying to do this to avoid tracing the wires and trying to figure out if the bulb can be disconnected that way.
Many thanks,
Steve

Why not just fix the source of the problem rather than take out the bulbs? Prising the switch apart may cause more damage and the switches aren't exactly freely available.
The switches should just prise out of the centre console. A small screwdriver on the top and bottom face of the switches should do it.
According to the wiring diagram I have, the supply for the bulbs is a R/W wire. Though my V8S has R/Blue wires
