Please can someone tell me, is the ignition switch from an Escort or Sierra? It appears the contact that feeds the coil at the start position is getting a little bit iffy. I occasionally have to bias the key towards me to get her to fire.

My guess would be Sierra, that's where the rest of the column is from.

My Moto-Lita boss was for a Sierra as was the plastic cowl, so I'm with Phillpot (who's obviously finished for the week and hit the magic mushrooms laugh)

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Going to strip it down this weekend and see if it can be salvaged.
