side repeaters
Discussion
Took mine out when I removed the bonnet catches. You can get to the back of the light fitting through the large hole on the outside of the footwell. The wire disconnects with an anti-clockwise turn, the plastic fitting has sprung sections which you squeeze in so it can be pushed outards. You may need to rotate the fitting to align with slots either side of the hole in the wing. At least, that's how it was for me (S3c)

I've recently done the clear side repeaters changeover, my amber ones wouldn't come out even when the 2 pin things were pushed together so I snapped one of the pins off on the inaide an fed it through instead. Remember to get the amber 'chrome' bulbs so you don't get the fried egg effect

No offense to anybody who prefers the square ones but it always seemed to me that the S was a harmony of curves and the square repeaters looked out of place. Indeed looking at later TVR's it seems like their stylists felt the same. Most Fords use a simple oval repeater, and as there are lots of Ford colour choices and lots of aftermarket firms, there are lots of different oval side repeaters out there.
I decided to colour coordinate with my car so the repeaters were less obvious when not actually lit. My car is green so I used green repeaters with orange bulbs. I must say it was a great improvement in nmy eyes,ánd the yes of my friends. These are the ones I bought:

Fitting was fiddly but pretty easy but I decided the wiring was in a bad way close to the lamps so I fitted new connectors and made some effort to seal the units to the bodywork to prevent further moisture getting to the wiring.
