FB 'Buy & Sell anything TVR' - Got to love the TVR community
Discussion
Decided to stick my other spare seats up on FB as, frankly, I'm not swapping from the Elise ones.
So, a mid-restoration Vixen owner contacted me asking about the seats. No rush and need to check they fit but deal done.
Then an S owner replies wanting a set to refurb and fit to his [running] car. Original guy happy for the new guy to have the seats as long as they offer them their old ones.
How nice to have a practical and unselfish transaction where two owners get what they want for their cars.

Although I have severe reservations about discussing technical matters on Facebook (so difficult to get a continuity of information) I have to say that as far as selling/swopping stuff goes it is so much quicker and easier on FB. No MODS wanting to pounce on you given the slightest opportunity.
Adrian Venn now also has his own Facebook group, you have to become a member of his group first (I am) but it does have some interesting stuff and the opportunity to get his advice as one of the top guru's on older TVR stuff.
