Does anyone have an up to date part number for a cluth for a 2.9 - The ones on the alternative parts list are outdated and ford now only list an 8 1/2 plate not a 9 1/2. Most of the alternative manufacturers,LUK Sachs etc no longer manufacture them.

Same AS 2.8 Capri seems to "ring a bell" from previous posts?

I would doubt you'll find it listed under TVR S at any Motor Factors

When I replaced my clutch (full clutch kit, 3 in 1) in May during the chassis refurb I identified the Borg n Beck kit for the type 9 5 speed as part number HK9579 which at the time could be had off eBay for 70 something quid.

However, the Factor sent me a National Clutch kit instead! Part number CK9204 which is fitted and works, and was 50 odd quid.

I know!
I replaced mine as a precaution and I am sure that is my problem but I am not risking it again and am going to replace the lot.

I did mine chasing a noise, which turned out to be fan belt resonance when coming off the power!
