With the prices that S3's have been going for these last couple of weeks on eBay (<£4K) I bet he'll not get anywhere close to the asking price!

Admittedly I don't know much about TVRs, but that to my mind is a lot of car for not very much

...or buy a tatty one for £3-4k,have the chassis repaired properly,interior retrimmed,new hood fitted,a hundred and one electrical/mechanical issues sorted and about £15k spent and you will have a good one...smile

There was a very nice looking blue S which sold the other day on ebay for just over £3k. Quite a bargain by the look of it.

That's not far off the ball park I reckon.. I've been doing mine for the past couple of years and I don't think I'll see much change out of £13K, could be more.. Not bothered though as it'll be as near to new as possible.. wink

That's a very honest appraisal of how much full refurbs cost, as a full spray job and interior retrim alone would not see much change from 8k l reckon without even touching the chassis and engine.
