I am pleased to announce that thanks to a brave flight into Edinburgh, a great meeting with Bob in Lanark, a mentally adventurous weather ridden sideways rain, flooded road journey to Tapton, a beer and curry or two with Max and Lucia & friends and a 'gentle' growl home - I am now the proud possessor of the as yet unnamed V8S below.

And the caption is 'no it's not the same colour as yours Max'

Nice one Steve! thumbup Is that Bob or Max weeping on your shoulder?
Either way, it came as a complete surprise to me:

Burgundy has always been a favourite of mine, and indeed a favourite of Turbo Tony. Does this indicate your imminent move towards the GTS section of our hallowed Band of Brothers? We are short of V8S exponents at the moment, and we are thinking it's about time Joe retired. winkMaybe, just maybe you could fill his shoes as our alien liaison correspondent officer? Just give it a try before making your mind up. smile

PS. You could have come foe the breakfast at Wellesbourne. It was only a short hop from Ebrinder
Don't forget to update the owners' list.

Are you explaining to Max what the orange
part of the back lights are for,
Glad I've not got to keep it secret anymore,
Wasn't easy

Lovely colour thumbup, and I prefer those wheels compared to what were on my old V8s.

Always wonder if it's still out and about.... Sold towards the end of 2002 and have no idea what number plate went on it after taking mine off.
