I know what this topic has been done to death on the wider TVR PH forums - I was wondering what the preferred 'S' solution is?

Piggy back switch on the otter led back to the steering column? Or wired directly to the relay, and also led back to the steering column?

What wire/switches have people used?

Originally I used piggy back on Otter switch but after a comment by Philpott (I think) I rewired it direct from the relay. Much neater. I used a low profile switch from Car builder solutions (lots of choice) so I could place it on the side of the footwell trim where the ashtray used to be on the S1. (low profile so my knee didnt hit it!)

When it comes to electricity I am an idiot. I prefer stuff that I can see.

greymrj, can you describe how you wired it to the relay? Did you have to pass the wire behind the dash?

Is fitting an LED to show normal fan operation popular? I have a spare LED on my column which could prove useful.
