LH Wiper Arm.. Wanted
Discussion
Hi guys,
recently put 'nissan micra k11' rear wiper arm onto the front windscreen, now the drivers side one works a treat (better than original infact) & doesn't foul bonnet what so ever!
Now i followed suite & got another one for passenger side but the 'thicker lower arm bit' is fouling the bonnet on its way up
I seem to have misplaced my original LH one cant find it anywhere so im stuck.. Checked TVR-Parts they only have RH wiper arm?
Does anyone have one for sale or could mod something for me (id gladly pay)
Cheers
Steve

93-97 (as recommended by the S guru greymrj) just be carefully with passenger side it may or may not foul the bonnet. Also had to bend mine my RH arm a little to stop it also fouling my bonnet I need some new wiper arms.. What year micra rear are you using.?
Thanks

I just got hold of another good Micra rear arm and it seems to fit perfectly either side. There is a suspicion, which I have never had time to check in detail, that there was some detailed development of the grp mouldings in this area; the wiper spindle recess does appear to change in depth and/or profile.
There are a few other arms which can be 'cut and shut' to make them work. Generally rear arms are likely to be more suitable as the S screen is much shallower than on any modern car front screen. I did cut and shut a Mondeo rear arm but the Micra was well nigh perfect as it stood.

Hmm im stuck in a pickle for now, the original LH one which i seem to have misplaced didn't foul at all, only reason i got the micra ones was because the original pair were dragging on the windscreen screeching like mad.
With the micra ones they no longer drag nor screech.
Think ill go back to the original LH one when i get hold of one, or maybe risk doing mike & joe's vw golf arm mod
