V8S rear track measurement pleaae
Discussion
Hi, I’m after a Tyre centre to Tyre centre rear wheel measurement to do some comparisons.
Could as many as possible let me know yours and if you’re running oz 8 spoke , other wheels or spacers please. I think it should be 1438mm but want to be certain.

You should really measure inner rim to inner rim. Too much scope for error trying to find the centre of the tyre.
I can find measurements for the former, as I get quite a few cars done at the alignment place in Southampton, and the first thing he does is measure the track with a telescopic gauge.

Wouldn't that factor in any discrepancy in wheel off-set from one car to another? Would hub face to hub face be the most accurate?
It would be, but it's not practical. As long as you know the offsets of the wheels and whether they've got spacers in etc., rim to rim is the normal way to do it.Speed Matters | S Series | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
