Help identifying rev counter.

Hi all , just wondered if anyone knows how to identify this TVR rev counter ?
I'm pretty sure its for an S , but which one , 280/290 or V8, ( I think some early Chims and Griffs had these too though I may be wrong ).
I've posted some pictures with what look like part numbers .
I only paid less than £20 so thought it was worth a risk !
Hope someone can help .

It looks the same as fitted to my S3 , unfortunately I'm away from car so unable to check .
This is mine as fitted .

Thought this might have been easy if redline was different but it's not, both 6000

If yours has T39N 008P (which I think it does) at the top and 6138 at six o'clock that matches my V8s

My V6 has S29N 0043 at the top and can't see anything at the bottom

Yes I'm beginning to think it is for a V8 car .
I'll check against mine when I finally get home and look at the car .
Oh well never mind , worth a punt though !
