I've done it at last! bin and bought this smashing S3 in BRG from that nice man Peter C
Trailered it home last night as I am not allowed to drive for four weeks (Heart attack the day after I first saw it, that's excitement for you, or Peter's test drive )
JONK,
Forgive me the lack of total exuberance but all I can do is sit in it on the drive listening to that lovely six pack rumble.
I hope to participate in forthcoming threads and wish Peter C well with his 2 additional cylinders.

Ray, Welcome to the wonderful world of S!

When you can actually get out on the open road, you'll find out just what a great choice you've made. Better be prepared to find yourself just nipping out for something on a regular basis though!

Enjoy!

Many thanks for the welcome, it is damned hard resisting the temptation to "just nipping round the block love, i'll not be long" but SHE puts her foot down and insists I wait for three MORE weeks
At least it gives me plenty of time to get to know the little beast.

Andy, I'm in Nettleham, 3 miles top side of Lincoln, e-mail me if your passing.

Regards,
Ray

Hi Ray

Not to far away, based in Lincoln with a Red S3. Owned it since 94, keep toying with the idea of selling but I don't think I'll ever be able to bring myself to do it, unless I can afford a Griff!!

Good Afternoon Adrian apart from the damned hailstones!

I'd heard from a friend that there was an S around town before I bought mine. It's good to hear from you.
When I eventually get my release permit I'd love to meet up for a lemonade.
