Ok, looking for some new wheels for the coming winter months. Don't want the salt to get to my shink alloys, so I need a cheap set of wheels and tyres. Suggestions anybody?

You could get yourself some second-hand aftermarket ford alloys with the right offset or you could look out for a cheap set of chimera alloys.

IMHO E-Bay is always a good option. Loads on there at the moment.

No, Chimaera front wheels are identical to the standard S series wheels (15/7J, 1" inset, standard Ford 4 stud).

Halfords seem to be doing some pretty good deals on wheel and tyre combos ATM.

I've got a set of OZ 5 spoke plus SO2's going cheap. The wheels were re-furbished about 4 years ago but apart from one small area on one wheel are in reasonable condition. Two tyres about 2.5 mm tread and two with about 3 mm. Get in touch if you are interested.
