yeah, I must say I am not a fan - although I put aftermarket darkened lights on my old S3 and I preferred those to standard

Yes, well theres a differenc between how much I paid for it and how much it was advertised for on the dealer forecourt. Benefits of friends who work with TVRs.

The V8S would have cost you another £1500 in insurance as well...

Nah, insurance for a Griff 400 wasn't too much more. But I'm happy with my S3. A V8 would have cost me another £1500 in petrol.

only pulling your leg Chris. I never stick in the purchase price on my profile but I have seen quite a few where its far more than the real purchase price not a bad thing for resale time though

Anyways, your S looks a real stunner so I wouldnt worry too much. The e-bay V8S may have been a real bargain but an equivelant condition V8 to your S would probably be worth £11k+ so its rare that a bargain like that one comes along.

I got a good deal on my S. Especially as I got it through a Dealer. It just helped a lot that my friend knew the dealer in question and he lowered the price enough for me to be able to afford it.

When I was shopping for mine - there was one up for £3,700 - the profile of the seller said he'd paid a couple of grand for it!

Schoolboy error!
