Exhaust Manifold S1

Got a cracked exhaust manifold on my S1 having trouble sourcing the part - can anyone help - idea of price would be good. Regards Birchy

Presumably you mean the TVR made part and not the cast Ford item that bolts to the head?? Cheers LeeBee

From what I can remeber when I had my S1 I got a replacement from a scrap yard for about £10 after a bit of searching. The straight manifold is quite easy to find but the 'dog leg one' I found a bit tricky. It would appear that the 2.8i ford engine (Granada & Capri) used two different ones, the angle of the dog leg being slightly different between the two and only one will fit an S. I think the one I managed to match up came off a ford 2.3 V6 even!!

I have an S1 engine in my workshop with the cast manifolds attached, the engine will be stripped down very soon so if anyone needs any parts give me a shout Cheers LeeBee
