TRVR S series mechanics

Sadly it's a bit "deadsville" here on PH these days, almost everyone seem to have gone over to the S series FaceBook group

There is/was a TVR Specialist in Redditch, DG Sports Cars but not sure if they are still in business? Finding a garage that want to get involved with a nearly 40 year old heavily modified car might be tricky.
Which car have you bought, there aren't too many around with Cosworth conversions? Does it look like it's been done well?
If I recall correctly, fitting a BOA or BOB egine didn't require any chassis mods as the engine mounts and gearbox were / could be the same.
Relocation of a few bits - coolant expansion, exhaust manifold routing spring to mind - should be fairly obvious if they have been bodged.
I think the biggest headache will be the electrics. What engine management system has been fitted. Who mapped it (very important). How has the wiring been modified - TVR factory was pretty ropey to begin with. Does everything work - speedo seems to be the issue with a lot of engine changes, although this may be if the gearbox was swapped too.
Can't offer a recommendation in ther Redditch area. Powers are in Coventry and I assume they do servicing as well as the rebuilds.
I'd start with inspecting the wiring and undertaking proper repairs - even the original stuff will be well used and beyond best by now - resizing where required - TVR used undersized cables and connectors throughout. Use proper water / weatherproof connectors too. TVR didn't, indeed a fair bit was solder and some electrical tape, in particular the earths.
