OIL CHANGE

What oil does everyone use? Last year I put Mobil 1 in mine. Now I am thinking Magnatec. Seen some Carlube Triple R 10w40 which says "used and recomended by TVR". I am tempted!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going for 15/50 semi synthetic on a knackered old Fix Or Repair Daily engine of our vintage.

Did you get the springs OK Tony?

Hi Derek, yes, cheers. I got the springs, almost got the back fitted and levelled. Only problem is, I think the damper bodies are too long, maybe the wrong ones fitted. With the ride height down to 175mm, there is only about 30mm of damping. Need to investigate further.
I have bought the Triple R oil, Spoke to a chim owner and he says TVR services are with this oil, as they part sponser the race team.

I seem to remember that my old Avos were fairly wound down on the back with about 25mm left but loads on the front with the ride height about 175mm
