I'm travelling down from the Midlands by car on Thursday for a gig in Camden, and was wondering what parking was like after 6pm?

I had planned to park at High Barnet and take the Northern Line there (and back at 11pm) , but if parking is easy I won't bother.

Where in Camden?

I went to The Roundhouse last week and found loads of free on street parking in the streets just north west of Chalk Farm tube which are all free after 6:30pm (resident permits apply until 6:30pm). We parked in Eton Road, just off Adelaide Road. 10 mins walk to The Roundhouse. Add another 10 into centre of Camden.

Pick a street on Google Maps and check here: https://www.camden.gov.uk/controlled-parking-zones

Depends on the venue I guess but you can park on the streets around Belsize Park tube station free after 6:30pm.

Thanks for the suggestions - in the end, I parked at East Finchley and got the tube in, pretty easy to be honest.
