Don't get too excited, there's still mobile vans in Northumbria's area along with Durham and Cleveland. Also Cleveland still has fixed cameras.

They're back to their old tricks in Stockton - hiding behind a bus shelter in Fairfield, such that the van was just peeping out.

I believe County Durham have a policy of no fixed speed cameras whatsoever. There are a few around Teesside though.

Interesting that they're all turned off (and a move in the right direction, they should sell them for scrap next). They're still flashing though, as I set off a forward facing one doing 70mph on the A1 past Morpeth on a driving course a few months ago.
