Car transport recommendations?

I'm going to need to move a car across Bristol next week - all of seven miles from Fishponds to Bishopsworth. It's a non-running 540i Touring, so it's fairly heavy and will need to be winched onto a trailer or flat-bed.

Any recommendations from personal experience? Budget is an issue, but it'd be good if they know what they're doing and have all the appropriate insurance.

Alex at http://www.lizardlogistics.com/ is recommended. Not local but may be able to do it between jobs if you're not fussy on timing. He's a PHer too.

Hi there

I'm not local but had a similar problem having to move a part built kit car about 10 miles. I phoned around the local small recovery firms and one agreed to do it for £30 cash. May be worth a punt.
