Anyone near Worthing with an estate car?

Hi fellow South Coasters, I've got a mattress that I need to dispose of - I won't be able to get it in my 1-series so I have the following options:

1) Ask the council to remove it
2) Hire a van
3) Get a company to remove it - pricey as it becomes 'commercial rubbish' once they pick it up
4) Give a local PHer £20 to get it to the tip

If anyone's around and can help this weekend, it'd be greatly appreciated. Shouldn't take more than about half an hour to do!

It also becomes commercial waste the minute you pay the PHer! He will also need a commercial waste licence!

Hi chaps, a mate of mine swore blind he reckoned we'd get it in the back of his Focus ST. And we did. JUST! It required some 'folding', like a tortilla, but we did it.

It's now at the tip ready to be recycled or whatever they do with mattresses.

I was worried it was going to be a major mission, but mates FTW.
