It's Mrs Puggit's gran's funeral tomorrow and the plan is to meet up with family before hand.

Can anyone recommend a decent pub for lunch in the Chichester area please?

Thanks smile

Good Beer Guide 2010 recommends

1. Bell Inn PO19 6AT

2. Eastgate Inn PO19 7JG

3. Four Chestnuts PO19 7EJ

No experience of any of them, they all do
lunchtime food, but #3 got CAMRA
pub of the year 2007, so probably has the edge
on the other two.

I assume you're ok with a load of bearded wierdos
arguing about Old Throat Warbler's Dingy Stout,
while you'n'yours are trying to eat ;->

Thanks Al Wyn - how did you know it was at the Crem? wink

Thanks dcb - I've passed the details over to the family, it's their decision!

The Bulls Head just outside Chichester to the west is decent and away from the Crem if folks don't want to be to close.

I was going to recommend that anyway, it is good for a quick and pleasant lunch.

Thumbs up for the G+D. My burger with bacon and stilton was top drawer. Crispy bacon and succulent burger in fresh bread.

Chips were good too!
