I was thinking the beach too, 1st thought was Boscome prom, but it gets full of Chavs on a evening.

Cant make either of those September dates, unless later in the day as suggested

Pete I think it would have to be evening because of the air show, it's going to be mental down there, unless go other end like HH?

If the beach is packed why not go the other way and have a BBQ at Avon Heath Country Park. Plenty of parking room and they have a cafe and rent out a couple of permenant BBQ's. Should have the place to ourselve over the Air Show period?

Or Wilverley Enclosure in the New Forest. It's got loads of parking (although it's gravel), built BBQ's and toilets.

there are a few lesser known chines in bournemouth than boscombe prom + hengistbury beach for example, and yes, it would be 5ish onwards. so watch air show all day there/elsewhere then onto this or just turn up to the bbq at 5 - just a possible

You can rent the Branksome Dean Chine community hut for circa £180 an evening if we were gonna go down that route? Maybe make a bigger deal of than just a meet.

Right, I have had a reply from the Avon Courseway Pub, Hurn and we are more than welcome to use their car park for a meeting point.

We should avoid Monday nights as they have a bikers night each Monday!

I see Sunday 21st August has been suggested, or maybe the 11th September...

HOw does this sound? Which date should we go for?
