This is a Dorset / Hampshire offer so please dont move it mods. lol

Just on the off-chance, if anyone here is looking at buying a circa £10k watch (ie Rolex or similar)i might be able to help with getting you a good discount. Its a one-off opportunity im affraid so it'll only apply to one buyer. Send me an email and i'll give you the info.

Hi Eddie does this have to be one singular watch?

No, I'm fairly sure the offer would extend beyond a single item.

Eddie, I guess you 'do' watches?

I have a 10 year old Seamaster - shamefully hasn't been serviced for about 6 years so needs one.

The only thing that worries me about having it opened up is that it is unbelievably accurate for an analogue watch - as in loses approximatly two minutes a month, if that! I've had less accurate digitals.

Anyway, can it be guaranteed that if it's fiddled with, that super accuracy will remain?

So looking for someone good to trust it with - has inseparable sentimental value too biggrin

Let me know, ta.

Ray my 11 year old Seamaster keeps really good time, I don't get it serviced every year but when the battery gets low, guys puts it on test, if it looses time it gets a full service, otherwise just gets a spit and polish.

If Eddie doesn't do watches, I'm happy to recommend the place I use.

Nobody can guarantee that the watch will be more or less accurate than it is now, only that the watchmaker will calibrate the watch to its factory setting, which will be accurate. However my watch man is very very good, with full Rolex, Cartier, Omega, Tag etc authority to service their timepieces. He is on holdiay for 3 weeks at the moment but if you want i can let you know when he's back. The watch will be very safe in his and my hands and you are welcome to come down and see the workshop and check us out before hand.

The service normally takes a week or so to complete so you will be without it for a few days, but thats nothing compared to the 6 month estimate given by the likes of Rolex and Cartier at the moment. The cost will substantially reduced too.

Let me know,

Eddie

p.s. My Seamaster is now 6 years old and it too is incredibly accurate, and in need of a service lol.

Of course this depends if he has a battery or automatic movement. The battery ones are always super accurate by the fact that they are electronic. The auto ones (like mine) are the ones that need the servicing work done more regularly.
