Computer numpty

Hi all
Title says it all really. Bought a printer/scanner/fax for use at home. I'm buggered if I can get it to work either by lead or wireless. Followed all the insrtuctions on the disc provided.
Is there a computer guru close to Waterlooville who would be willing to pop round and set it up for me.

Ok sussed it. It was the USB cable that was duff. Went down to PC World and asked them to test it as I had bought the printer and cable from them. Have to say they were very helpful and replaced the cable without question. So all working now.
