hello all, looking for local services that are able to heat and form 3mm clear polycarb over some moulds (headlight covers), just struggling to find someone local who wants to do a few sets and not an industrial order. Any pointers? Thankyou... Mark

Not sure if they are able to do that kind of work, but there is a place on Boundary Road in Hove that might be worth a call. I think it's called Brighton and Hove Plastics. A quick Google will give exact details, as I found their details last night whilst looking for a sheet of Perspex.

Company called Wake Plastics posted a leaflet to us the other day. They specialise in perspex, boat windscreens and such like.

They're based in Middlesex though, so not local.

thanks for the posts, just googled Wake who happen to be pretty close to where I stay during the week in London!

Hey Luke, its coming on - these bits are actually for the 45 front covers, I dont have any spares and want to prise off the originals....I know there is a good chance of breaking them in the process!

thanks for the help- Wave and Thompson above were actually very helpful but not able to do as once we looked over the shape was 3D and a bit beyond heating and draping- actually found somewhere on my doorstep (possibly) that may be able to do vaccum forming- will update if any progress...

you could try Precision Units in Poole, I'm not sure if they can do 3D though.
