Decent car wash place in Portsmouth?

Hi all,

Used to use a place in Southsea, they were very good at looking after my various P&Js and did so for seven years until we fell out over them scraping a front bumper.

Is there anywhere near town or Gunwharf that anyone can recommend that I can take the car to, leave for a couple of hours and return to a decently cleaned car without swirls etc?

The Drayton Car Wash is excellent, at the rear of car sales on the main drag, as an alternative, equally as good is the one at the BP garage in Commercial Road

Thanks guys, perhaps I wasn't very clear, I'm after a hand wash & valet place, within walking distance of town &/or Gunwharf so I can leave them the car, go do some shopping and then collect.

Depends on how far you can walk then, Commercial Road is the nearest, and yes, its hand car wash

I had my car cleaned in the Cascades recently, they actually did a pretty good job and it looked lovely and sparkly afterwards

Pompey Car Wash on Stamford St just up from Fratton Station roundabout is very good - £5 just for the outside is great value and they do a good job. £10 for inside as well. can they jump on the train to Portsmouth Habour for Gunwharf

Think you'll struggle to find somewhere you can leave the car to do more than this in town, maybe drop in there as they may offer more than a drive through service.
