Hi all,

Off to stay at the above soon for an overnight and wondered if anyone else has stayed there before?

Looks good on the website but no real piccys of the place.

It's good. I often use the bar and restaurant and never had problems. Can sometime be full of 'the pretty set', but if you're happy with that, the staff and cocktails are great. Recommended.

(I guess you mean the one in Christchurch).

I havent stayed there but me and the missus often eat/drink there, excellent staff and food, but as previously said can be full of the beautifull people, but makes no odds to me, just makes the people watching more fun

I work in christchurch just round the corner from the captains club.

Although i have not gone there myself the locals absolutely rave about it, so would seem like a thumbs up!

Nice place, friendly satff beautiful surrounding... BUT my advice don;t stya in the summer, NO aircon?! Strange for such a place! Stayed there last summer and couldn't sleep at all due to the heat, even with the crap summer we had. Should be a pleasent stay this time of the year though
