Im finding it really hard to find a band I like to play at my wedding. I am after one that plays rock like ZZ Top, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC etc... as well as the drivel that is on the radio to keep the masses happy.

Wedding will be in Hampshire and any recommendations will be gratefully received.

Mark.

Try the TVR Guru Carl Baker - he's got a band and they are very well regarded.

Try Peter Pod And The Peas. One of my old neighbours was the drummer and they were absoutely fantastic - all the kinds of things you've mentioned, plus 60's and 70's classics etc.

+1 for these guys, I have many a fond memory of drunken dancing to them during a string of Cowes Week's!

Local band called The Marauders done my wedding 18months ago, awesome. One of the band used to be in Chicory Tip, Son of my Father, classic choon from the olden days!!!!!
Booked them for 2 hours £200 and they didn't want to stop. After 4 hours of good rocking we had to kick them off stage as the DJ was getting the pox'!!!!
