Well this is is, today I started the final polish of the Porker getting it ready for sale frown a coat a wax tomorrow then on to the interior, all went well until it came to the time to remove the PH smileys which somehow seemed to make it all very final.... lets hope it's the right decision will have owned it 10 years next year that's longer than I've owned been married to my wife....

Still debating whether to go for a last hoon or not, just tempting fate possibly???

PS garage is a mess as still got lots of building work going on.

Ahh the left hooker Porsche. Chichester based owner. It's ringing bells.
You've changed your login name.

Hi Al,

Indeed it will be when I see it going up the road. The MG is currently sat on the drive under a cover awaiting my attention, just going to try and put an MOT on it and then knock it on asap, it will hopefully bump up the car building fund a little further.

On a side note have you noticed the building works going on round my Grandads?? My Dad ended up buying the house and hopes to be moving around Christmas.

Cheers

Paul

Interesting, a car I've seen many off in the original, prototype and replica flesh.

I've a friend who works on mainly these for his bread and butter. Built a replica or two as well if you ever want any questions passing on.

Quite a few were at Stoneleigh the other month.

Great thanks, may well take you up on that at some points, who does he work for? The good thing is the manufacturer is only in Botley so nice and local and good for me to poke around other cars to see if I'm doing it right?

The GTD club make a fairly regular appearance at the Gurston HillClimb. One of the club has just shoved a 7L block in his, but it's still awaiting final reassembly at a well know garage in the region. He also has a healthy interest in Vipers!

Sad times Paul, you must be pretty attached to her. Could you PM me with the price your looking to get for it? Will pass it round to a couple of mates.

I'm many years from a hill climb but I have found that the GT40 enthusiasts club meet at Meon Hut every month, may well be growing a beard and heading along soon nerd
