Need some help, mum is looking to buy a property with sea views, on the South Coast, does anyone know of any agents that deal with the above. She is looking in wide area, just want to get some ideas for her.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Mark.

House or flat? Lots here and often flats going.

A mate has his own business on the Island and I'd be glad to put you in touch.

Waterside properties, I think they have an office in Ocean Village Southampton.

There isn't a specific one that specialize in sea view properties around Hythe/Marchwood etc.

Shoreline properties. Based in the ocean village marina. They know their stuff.

That's a bloody huge area! It's like saying you are looking for a place in Wales.

Waterside are probably one of the better known, they have offices in Hythe, Ocean Village, Port Solent, Gunwharf Quats etc.

There is some new build flats by the seafront in Bexhill where you can enquire within otherwise just the usual estate agents in the Bexhill area. The main issue with Bexhill is most the buildings on the seafront are flats.

I don't know of any one company that covers what you want. When I was looking for a sea view place on the south coast I just went on to right move and used the draw a search option.

Try a few agents in Bognor. There are some great houses with sea views. Pricy but not for what they are.

TBH I think you need to do a little research on the various locations along the coast (south/SE/SW) then sit down with your mum and decide an area/town, the local amenities she needs (shops, public transport etc), what type of house (terraced/semi, with garage?, garden size etc). Once you have narrowed that down I'm sure between us we can give a view on area chosen and come up with agent suggestions(I was an EA in Brighton a lifetime ago but still have some contacts)

There's a bunch of nice properties with these kind of views around 'Port Solent' near Fareham.

Last time I was down there, I saw an estate agent on site specialising in these types of properties.

Just Googled for you - there's actually a few:

If I were the OP I would avoid using Waterside Properties.

I've used them in the past and they have been a nightmare!!
