By the look of some of the comments something like this was going to happen sooner or later to the owner :/ shame about the damage to such a nice car too frown

I know the driver.... a friend. Shame about the car, i know the area well and it is a "black spot" for crashes..... he fled the scene, no comment as to why!

Reading the comments to the echo article, seems your mate doesn't have many fans in the area. Seems he's well known for his driving style!

Some of those comments are priceless. I would love to take a wet fish and slap then round the chops. What a bunch of losers.

My thoughts exactly, funny how those 'newspaper' articles always seem to draw those kind of comments!

Sure, pinch of salt and all that but if there's any truth in it then maybe he'll tone it down a bit when he gets his licence back. Wonder why he didn't hang about after rearranging the contents of that shed?

Except that a lot of the comments are not talking about "fast car owners in general" they're talking about this specific car and driver.

Amount of stuff in the garden, one suspects it looked like a st tip before hand anyway. So they ought really to see precence of their new Audi R8 sculpture (could turn it in to a water feature?) as an upgrade...?

The fact that the driver left the scene says all you need to know about him. If he hasn't the bottle to stay & face up to the fact it is difficult to have any sympathy.

To be fair. I think a lot of what you are seeing is the trail left by the car having collected the fence & shed on it's way through.
And does living in this estate make it ok to have low flying cars come through your garden uninvited?

There's barely enough debris for it to have been a massive shed.....reckon it was st tip.

Besides, only somebody on benefits would sell this to the Echo....

No, I meant some of the more random comments aimed at each other, not the subject.

I know him in romsey too, people that know him say his wife can't drive the car so cold have been her!

Any way poor car, plants will re-grow no one was hurt, bet he feels really sick. People love to see someone have misfortune

Oh well moulded metal can be replaced (composite mostly )
