I thought I'd put this out to the South Coast collective, I'm looking for a nice restaurant / pub between New Milton / Southampton, with good food - does anyone have any suggestions

Monty's in Beaulieu is excellent, but might be a bit busy due to autojumble this weekend?

How about the Westover Hall Hotel - on the clifftop at Milford-on-Sea ? Lovely views and a good menu....

New Forest Inn at Lyndhurst.

Turf Cutters at East Boldre is a little ""spit and saw dust but does good grub

Foresters Arms at Frogham is excellent

ForesterS Arms doesn't do proper food.

Trusty Servant at Minstead is pretty good!

Not sure what we got served up last week then! It has changed hands within the last few months......

I was at the pig the other day. They told me the earlieat Saturday reservation they had was about 6 months away
