Something to do near Southampton Airport

Mrs Puggit is having a girlie weekend in Amsterdam, and the kids and I will be collecting her on Sunday evening from SOU. Can anyone recommend something to do nearby, bearing in mind the weather will be pretty lousy!?

Slightly off topic, but in the airport car park is a plaque commemorating the Gordon Keeble factory that used to be there.

Theres an indoor Karting track about 2-3 miles from the airport. Chickenhall Lane, Eastliegh iirc.

Saints are hosting Man Utd Sunday afternoon so the city centre and surrounding roads will be very busy between 1pm & 3pm and again between 5pm & 6pm..

First cars built in Slough. About 36 I think.

Mine is an Eastleigh car, number 57, later they moved to where the Veals car park is on Portsmouth Road, last 9 or so cars.

Weather was a bit better than expected, so we spent some time in the garden, walking the dog and then doing homework which I'd forgotten about. Thanks for the suggestions, we'll look again next time

Actually... Only the Gordon GT was built in Slough. Gordon-Keebles 1 to 91 were fully built at Eastleigh Airport, and 92 to 99 were 'completed' at Sholing (now Veals).
