Following on from the success of last month's meet here (thanks to those that came along), we'll continue to host these once per month until autumn.

With the evenings getting lighter, we'll have a good look around at the cars before heading in for some food.

Everyone welcome, 6pm onwards. I'll try and book a table again if we have a good idea of numbers a few days before.

Enjoy, the following day I am off for a couple of thousand miles around a load of Alpine passes for a week or so, so will miss this one.

Down to the Alps and then doing the (quote from the tour): "And the list of those passes reads like a petrolhead’s greatest hits. There’s the Furka, the Grimsel, the San Banardino and the Stelvio. The Col du Galibier, the Gottard Pass and the Timmelsjoch. There’s the Col de l’Iseran, the Sella Pass in the Dolomites, and the Sustenpass to boot. And all these lead to the famous Grossglockner, in deepest Austria. And there are plenty more, scattered along the route, too."

Nice. Very nice. But not as nice as the A272.

Not yet but probably worth doing. Last month I bought one and there wasn’t even a Marshall there when arriving but as long as you buy a drink it covers the cost anyway. Never know with the Hut whether it’s going to be rammed or dead.

Oh, I will probably be there early, anyway, to avoid the traffic from London. If it's rammed, we could meet at Mcdonalds The Seven Stars pub?

Should be fine, they open the field up when it s busy and there s enough for 3-400 cars in there I m sure so we ll never not get a space. Ticket is more to guarantee a space in the main car park (supposedly).

FWIW I’ve bought a 5.45pm ticket.
