Thanks for the heads up! If I'm at a loose end then I will pop along. I wanted to go to Longmore Loco rally in Dec but unfortunatly was away.
Are you a member of any motor clubs by any chance? I was thinking of joining FDMC but haven't got around to sorting anything out yet. Popped my head into their last Autosolo event, which was ever so snowey lol

No I'm not, but one of our friends is running an A2 bodied quattro in it this year, and he's a bit 'excitable' with it!Are you a member of any motor clubs by any chance? I'll be there - navigating for Ian Robertson in our 205 GTi.

Last year, I drove and Ian navigated for me, we finished 22nd o/a and 2nd in class.
We had this wee moment on the last corner of the last stage

This year, we are intending on going back to the good old days of rallying, we will be tasking just the tools and spares we can carry in the car - no service van, no service crew....

Just to remind - 10, 13 and 15 mm spanners are essential!
Popped the photos up here, but here's mine...
The Towncross South Downs Stages Rally took place at Goodwood today, we turned up to support Ray, who was flying the quattro flag.
Another great event, lovely.

It was a splendid event, a good spread of cars, drivers and enthusiasts... And some superb memories, including the second run of the afternoon in the reverse direction. The speed carried though the pit straight chicanes was jaw dropping, as was some of the starts, including the FocusWRC that instantly went sideways at 'GO'. How it was recovered by the driver is a mystery... Massively entertaining to watch...
