Having a chat to Brian about a car.
He is a very long way away from me so just after some positive (or otherwise, but hopefully not)comments about his business.
Thanks

In my experience he is reliable and knows his stuff on the japanese cars. I have seen a few other makes at his place too so he clearly deals with a wide range of brands.

He did a lot of work to my Subaru track car in its first iteration and I was extremely pleased with the work and the charges.

Can't say much more than that.

If it's a Subaru you're buying then you'll be fine. What he doesn't know isn't really worth knowing.

I live about 3 miles away from him. I'm not a fan of Japanese cars but I did buy a Porsche there about 10 years ago. Never had a problem with it and have never heard anything negative. I believe he's highly regarded by local Subaru fans.

He preps a couple of Subaru's that race in SMRC that do well do does know his stuff. Usually worth a trip to oggle the 22B's he has even if I do prefer the superior opposition wink

Always received excellent service from brian. He looks after my noble for me and as stated above is the be all and end all regarding evo's and scoobs. I wouldnt take a performance car anywhere else. He cares about your car and what you get up to on drives or days out.

No f'raid not. It was a 944S2. Which, with hindsight, I should have kept. Never missed a beat.

Used to service my cossie and recently rebuilt a pal's impreza rally car engine. Very knowledgable guy. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

We've had 3 Impreza WRX (2 supplied by Brian) all were maintained by him and were very happy with the service he provided.

Ive had about 4 Imprezas from Brian over the years and he's helped look after my rally car at times throughout last season. He currenlty has my forged rally car engine with him being stripped, checked and re-built too. Have a lot of time for him and his knowledge of Subarus! Would recommend him and his cars 100%.
