Pistonheads Sunday Service in Scotland?

On Facebook I asked this question;
I know its a big ask Pistonheads Officials, but maybe just once, could we have a Sunday service thats reasonably close to or even in Scotland? (A chance for a long weekend on expenses..not that I would suggest such a thing!)
And this was their response;
An often asked (and valid) question. Reason we haven't do so far is simply down to not having a suitable venues. We seek places that offer a reasonable level of activity, hold upwards of 400 cars and don't charge a hire fee and seeking those venues out is hard to do when we aren't local. Manufacturer locations suit us down to the ground as the space and 'exhibits' are ready-made, but if you have suggestions please email us with details.

The Riverside Museum (transport museum) in Glasgow do enjoy having car clubs etc use the space in front of the building for meets/displays. They also don’t charge anything. Is it really a big enough space for a full PH event though? The last time our Porsche club used it we had less than ten cars attending …
it kinda sounds like they are just coming up with excuses cause they can't be bothered coming up this far.
400+ cars? really? do they get that at their usual sunday service?
not local to be able to find locations? i thoroughly doubt that all of their previous locations are within walking distance of their office. surely they have a guy sitting making calls to organise this. how hard would it be to make calls to a different area code?
there is an (somewhat) english focus to the pistonheads site, which is a shame considering the enthusiasm and roads that are up this end. we have the best driving roads in the UK, yet they are only mentioned on the odd:
yay, i took my car out of the boffin shed nd went for a drive up north.
even then they only talk about the car and everything they have done/going to do. nothing about where they went, roads they found, views that took their breath away, close encounters with sheep... nothing!
they could do a piece on Aberdeen being the Monte Carlo of Britain and having the highest concentration of supercars outside of London. or a piece about the fun runs that happen here regularly in the name of PH, but organised by volunteers and enthusiasts.
a little recognition for the hard work the organisers put in, to spread the PH name by organising these events, would not go amiss i think.

I am running the Italian car and bike day at Hopetoun House on sunday 12th august. We will have dedicated PH parking. I could negotiate a £5 per car entry for PH folk and have this to run alongside our event if that helps?
Hopetoun House is South Queensferry just beside forth road bridge and quite central to many?

To me there's only a couple of viable options, both may need a bit of work but could be achievable easily on an annual basis.
Option1 - east fortune
Option2 -somewhere near David coultards folks place (museum) with the added advantage of doing it on a gp day.
Both are south Scotland (needed to try and be a realistic 1day run for the northern English guys) and have a motorsport heritage. Failing this anywhere within an hours pleasant drive of A1 or M74 and in southern Scotland could be a realistic opportunity.
I'd also suggest there would be nowhere near 400 cars on the first one or two, what's the max we've had on a run 40? Cars how many does Paul get at hopetoun?
Just some thoughts to throw into the mix,

The Monte-Carlo Rally organisers are thinking about using this place for the start of the rally this year, as Clydebank was a flop. Large indoor hall and 500 spaces outside. I think a Sunday Service in Scotland would b a great success. Not sure if/how much they charge though? I'm sure there are other markets that are empty on Sunday? 
Right, some serious thoughts on the subject.
What groups of people, outside PH runners would normally turn up to a PH Sunday Service? Owners Clubs, Families, Kids in squinty caps, Motoring businesses?
I know there is a lot of people who go to static shows that wouldn't go on a run.
How do you stop the rockets attending, or at least attending and causing grief?
