Summer Solstice - Who's planning a road trip?
Discussion
Longest day of the year tomorrow, I was wondering if anyone was planning on celebrating with a road trip??
I've got a 520 mile loop planned on some of the best roads in Scotland, certainly the most secluded anyway. Over the Lect Ski Centre road, then up to the very north of Scotland on the east and down the West and home. Depending on time, I may go south from Ullapool, we'll see, that would around 80 miles. Will leave around 7:30am, hope to be home by 9pm, the average speed on these roads is pretty slow as many of you will know. Will update with some pictures over the weekend

This picture was taken just outside Ballater last year on the 21st at around 10:20pm, was still light by 11pm when we got home.

A couple of us are doing an overnighter on sat/sun with the same sort of idea - up Braemar/Lecht sort of way on sat, over to Loch Ness and staying in Spean Bridge. Head down through Glencoe, then over towards Inverary and back towards Glasgow.
Will be in a black E46 and black Celica if anyone else is out and about
