Afternoon All,

Has anyone had a contractor in to lay tiles in their garage? Any recommendations for types of types, grouts and contractors would be appreciated.

By all means post a pic if you have one, seen a few in other posts but keen to hear what locals have done.

Cheers

Have not completed yet but away to put in an epoxy floor in the garage through garage interior designs, already had a Harmonn Door through one of their sub contractors.
Pricing seemed reasonable after looking at tiling.

Hi Ali,

Tiling will be very expensive, most tilers charge around £30 to £40 a square metre, plus the cost of tile, base of my recent bathroom anyway.

Plus when I was researching it for my garage floor, I was advised that tiles can crack when jacking up the car, depends if that's a concern or not.

Cheers guys! Needs to be durable; so on the rare occasion I jack the car up, I certainly don't want it to crack!
