Best to karting for stag do ? Raceland ?

Raceland is by far the best karting track in Scotland. It has a fantastic 1km> outdoor track, and has the 270cc karts to suit, which you can lock the brakes on compared to most other centres! But it is a bit out of the way for a night out after.
Indoor karting wise it would have to be either Xtreme karting in Edinburgh, or Scotkart in Clydebank. Both with good links after, Scotkart more so I would say. Xtreme have less battered karts if I'm being honest, but the track is boring. Scotkart have slightly more battered karts as the track is more fun with a bridge, and the layout is also more like a track, rather than Edinburgh which is just too "car parky feel" still.
This is coming from a man who used to work at Scotkart in Clydebank just FYI...

TBH the speed of the karts is somewhat irrelevant as long as they evenly powered. Admittedly a more powerful kart can mask variations in the weight of the drivers..............but on stag its all about fun and settling scores.. no??
I would say a good bit of rubbing/racing and a few beverages before a good night out was the recipe for a stag with success not really crucial to the kart speed?

I used to work at Raceland so slight biased opinion but go to there! Use the outdoor track though as it has plenty opportunity to overtake plus the indoor one isn't great. I've raced at both extreme kart tracks and Raceland is much better. The brakes on the Sodi's have way more feel and stopping power. The layout of the track also means that you actually have to use them too unlike the extreme kart tracks where you can get round by chucking the kart and sliding them round corners.
Also, if its wet expect to go sideways. Everywhere.

Xtreme karting uses 200cc engined Rimo karts, aka heavy buggers with big metal bumper bars all the way round them.
Scotkart has 200cc Biz karts, very lightweight as not much to them.

Karting, no matter where, is always fun & having been to a few PH nights at Xtreme Larbert, it's a good outfit and happy to recommend.

A lap is around 1:05-10 and the karts are geared faster, 'cos there's room for them to stretch their legs.
If you can organise a bus - I did for stag do Karting - or even a few larger taxis, it'd be worth it.

We did the 270cc karts at Raceland for a works night out - they are by far the best karts I've ever driven, and the outdoor track quite special.
Think they only have around 20 of these 270cc karts though, as when booking we were advised that if the group was any larger we'd have to use the smaller karts, and they won't mix them up.

Some of the marshalls there are overzealous muppets.A lot of petrol heads in the group so as you might imagine bigger faster karts is priority , I've done both scotkarts numerous times and raceland once . I remember raceland as being awesome , but was just curious as to whether there where other big karts around.

I would abosutely contact Scott at Extreme Karting. Tell him Simon from Pistonheads gave you his details, I am sure he will look after you. I've done a fair bit of karting in the UK and I can honestly say these are the best Go-Karts and pride themselfs in safety too(unlike some places I've been, get out the Kart and do it yourself)!

Xtreme Karting in Falkirk are your best bet.
I have used them quite a few times for car club stuff, and they always put on a cracking event. The staff are spot on, the karts are all very equal, ant the marshals are very reasonable as to what is fair and what is not.
They also have a place just outside Edinburgh
