I'm posting this in "Events" and "Scotland" in the hope that at least one of them is the right place!

If you fancy a look at the 50-year old buses that people had to travel in before everyne had their own cars, and an opportunity to relive those days by riding on them, the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust annual Open Day is on Sunday 13th October in Bridgeton Bus Garage. We will be running free vintage buses to the garage from George Square (every 10 mins), Killermont Street and from the Riverside Museum (either every 20 or 30 mins, still being decided).

More details are at www.gvvt.org.

I'm up for that. I love these old buses and have fond memories of travelling on them with my mum to see my gran in Glasgow.

I went to this 2 years ago, I am not an old bus enthusiast but it was still a very interesting day, would recommend it.

This open day is tomorrow folks, I forgot all about it and now have other plans but give it a go if you are at a loose end - hits the nostalgia button right on the head!
