Deep Fried Mars Bars

Asides from the Carron, are there any chippers in Aberdeen(shire) that do deep fried mars bars?

I tried one earlier this year, can remember the taste and texture quite well, never again.

My local chippy does deep fried Toffee crisps as well as deep fried mars bars. I have never tried either as I always thought that by the time you have finished your supper the mars bar/ toffee crisp would be cold.

Had one now and again when passing by Stonehaven, really like them and gone as far as getting a mini fryer to do my own

Can't see why how they can be that bad unless you don't like chocolate/mars bars/batter, and be less healthy than a typical dessert.

When I lived in Insch the local chippy would fry me anything.

But the chicken fillets where fantastic.

When I was younger I got the local chippy to deep fry a crunchie, it was epic!

I really liked the deep fried mars bar. However I could feel the heart attack coming on at the same time. Worth trying once :-)

Insch isn't big enough for 2 chippys so its the only one in the town. Just off the main road. So coming from the station head down the road to the centre of the village. You then will come to a t junction turning left heading back on yourself just after the co op. Turn there and its on your right.

The ashvale in Ellon sells them. At easter they also sell deep fried cream eggs
